Bush Fire Risk Management Plans identify and prioritise treatments in terms of levels of risk, and it is appropriate to focus resources and effort on those areas of Extreme, Very High and High risk.
The Mid Coast Community Safety Team has been systematically visiting each of the higher risk areas and door-knocking thousands of properties, taking hundreds of hours, and clocking up many kilometres. This progressive task is into its third year.
